pg 4 of 4
TRT ETM and SHOM combine to provide a Structured and Strategic Psychodynamic
approach to the treatment and management of psychological trauma and PTS for both
single and multiple sources of trauma affecting individuals and systems. The first page in
this section introduces, chronicles and distinguishes the more than thirty year history of
this approach. Page two overviews the “structural” component as applied to individuals.
Pages three and four summarize the “strategic” element as it is applied to systems.

F.
As the Crisis Manager is confronted by more events, the internally
retained contradictions to identity expand.
G.
Eventually, or better said, inevitably, internally retained personal identity
trauma causes behavior that contravenes values, beliefs, and etc.
H.
Trauma-caused personal behavioral change eventually contravenes even
professional values, beliefs, images and reality.
Delineation of Crisis Manager Identity.
Thus, Crisis Manager’s bring two identities to the arena.
Therefore, Crisis Managers look, in this graphic, like this.

For Near-Term Trauma
I.
If trauma to personal identity is left unchecked (etiology reversed), then
trauma to professional identity expands for the Crisis Manager.
