Herein is the most sickening
page in ETM TRT’s one half gigabyte of literature.
And it will get worse before
it gets better. Profound regrets to new readers and
those of you who apply ETM
TRT to your patients, aspiring diligently and in
good faith to do so properly
and as authorized by the ETM Certifying Authority.

TM Recall, Restore,
Revalidate The ETM Certifying Authority is notifying anyone trained by TECS and ELCCC of Georgia between January 1, 2005, and February 1, 2008, that their certifications may represent deficient, DANGEROUS if applied to patients, and wrongfully influenced* ETM TRT training. For review. As a response to training, application and
ethics complaints filed in 2007 with the ETM Certifying Authority regarding
the referenced programs, I, as that authority, evaluated them through
interview and written documentation, and continue to investigate the proposed
training shortfalls and apparent failures underpinning the complaints. To
date, the information indicates that substantial, unauthorized and
prospectively destructive changes had and have apparently been made by the
onsite trainer to the stipulated (by the ETM TRT Certifying Authority) ETM
training curriculum resulting in affected training sessions having likely fallen
below the ETM standard required for ETM TRT certification. Hence, I also have concluded that
applications of ETM TRT to end users, that is, patients, may be compromised. updated August 1, 2009 In 2009, I have learned that the church non profit clinic managed by the past trainer and which also hosts the training sessions has adapted employee (therapist and layman) training and counseling policies and procedures related to ETM TRT administration to patients that function antithetically and practically differently from the rules that must be followed for compliance with ETM Certification. Moreover, the clinic’s management, who also was an ETM TRT trainer until February 28, 2008, had created an independent Certification Program that purports to extend ETM Certification by offering additional categories of ETM TRT recognition, skill and authority in discordance with the ETM Certifying Authority. Moreover, the clinic trains laymen, people who may not only be unlicensed by the state governing authority for mental health care standards compliance, but some of whom who also are said to only have high school diplomas for academic credentials. The academic standard for professional counseling today supports at least a graduate or masters degree. TRT is a serious and profound therapy which
requires facilitation by an individual who has the capacities to recognize
most mental health issues or disorders should any present comorbid while
applying TRT. The ETM Training program is not designed nor does it train laymen
in the general counseling theories and extensive mental health disorders.
Without those noted skills available to an individual, ETM TRT cannot be
expected to deliver proper, ethical and competent care. And, the patient can
even be exposed to harm. Any claim, as I understand is being made by the
facility that has served as host to these ETM Trainings in question, that
such not completely trained people in
general counseling principles and methods can interact with a Certified ETM
Counselor through out of session (the supervising counselor does NOT co
facilitate in the sessions) discussion and thus raise that individual’s
academic and other professional training deficits so that a patient may be
treated at ETM TRT’s full or true capacities for care, or to keep through non
co-facilitation supervision methods the patient from experiencing substantial
discomfort or even harm, has no merit in the ETM TRT system of mental health
care. Please contact the ETM Certifying Authority to see if this training deficit pertains to your certification. If it does, you may take a one day (from your home or office via conferencing with your computer) ETM training error correcting class. It is provided to you at no charge or additional expense. If by some circumstance, you are working for an organization as a Certified or Associate ETM TRT, as has now been reported to me as occurring in the referenced facility, and you don’t have a formal counseling background and credentials from your state authority, then you must cease providing ETM TRT by yourself, that is, without a constantly co-facilitating TRT counselor who has all the credentials required by your state governing authority which training is assumed in the TRT Training program. Regardless of whether an employer tells you that ETM TRT certification authorizes you to provide such care legally, it does not! If this information pertains to you, stop doing illegal TRT facilitation as soon as you read this message |

Revocation Status Update: 7/27/2009
Because of continuous
infractions and the requirement to protect professionals from possible
illegal involvement in unauthorized ETM trainings, prospective fraudulent ETM
certifications and improper use of Federally registered copyrighted
materials, it regrettably has become necessary that I make the
following statement as a public notice. On January 28, 2008, I served
Denise Adcock Colson with notification that her statuses as an ETM TRT
Trainer and Counselor are revoked for
non compliance with significant elements of her trainer’s and counselor’s
agreements and that litigation from me and against her, TECS, and
prospectively ELCCC and others not yet identified is pending. As of February
22, 2008, Mrs. Colson continued to offer ETM TRT training despite the
revocation notification of her ETM training authority served to her on
January 28, 2008, and no matter the legal issues involved, and most
incredulously despite the clear jeopardy in which such trainings and false
ETM TRT certifications will place people / students / professionals who
otherwise were most likely innocent participants in the unauthorized training
certification activities. Furthermore, false public statements purportedly
made by Mrs. Colson have been recorded in TECS or ELCCC information in both
on and off line archives. These statements include false ETM TRT contract and
financial investment claims pertaining to authority or lack thereof to
certify individuals in the various categories of ETM TRT. More egregiously,
TECS and prospectively ELCCC were reported to offer levels of training and
certification that do not exist within the ETM Certifying Authority. In such
situations, people were said to be making purchases of phony ETM products. In
order to restore confidence in and then maintain the integrity of the ETM TRT
training and certification system, I, as the sole ETM Certifying Authority
for the last 30 years, am publicly notifying all involved that ETM TRT
training received from Mrs. Colson subsequent to February 28, 2008, will not
be and is not recognized by the ETM Certifying Authority as qualifying for
ETM certification by that authority. Moreover,
appropriate legal action, including the filing of claims stemming from
prospective registered copyright and trademark infringement, must and will be
taken against pertinent parties. They include any students / professionals
who are now notified of the problems but assert, by applying the model to
patients, the validity of the non authorized ETM TRT training and
certification provided by Mrs. Colson after 02/28/2008. These legal remedies
for maintaining the integrity of the ETM certification system will also be
applied to any of TECS' (or any business dba or entity used by Mrs. Colson)
hosting partners who support ETM professional training conducted without
approval of the ETM Certifying Authority. If you believe
that you may be one of these people so affected by the purchase of ETM
professional training, you may contact the ETM Certifying Authority and enter
a process whereby your training may be evaluated and reconciled with that
Authority. So far, I’ve been
able to make this remedy available to an otherwise intolerable situation
without further charge to ETM aspirants, excepting mail expenses. If you
complete all required steps, then the ETM Certifying Authority will replace
the invalid recognition with a proper and authentic one signed by me. The question has
been posed by CTRT Counselors and people seeking TRT care in and from various
locations of the country: “How widespread is the damage caused by training
and other changes and what does it look like?” So far, the information
suggests that the preponderance of adverse influence is restricted primarily
to the State of Georgia. It also purports to be substantial and material.
When I’ve completed my evaluation of unauthorized changes made to the ETM TRT
system of professional training and care, I’ll report them on this web page
as well as in the proper legal proceedings. Interimly, I’m stopping all ETM
TRT training in Georgia by any ETM TRT trainers including that provided in
the online ETM TRT school until this matter is reconciled and the ETM TRT
international standard of care otherwise known for its excellence, ethics and
quality for 30 years is restored in this one noted geographical area. More to come. Jesse Collins |
